Dr Rik Chandarana returning and Covid-19 update

1st April, 2022

New dentist: We are delighted to welcome back Dr Rikesh Chandarana after a number of years working in the Oral Surgery department at Treliske. Rik previously worked with us between 2018 and 2020.  He will be looking forward to caring for you on Tuesdays and he is able to look after your children.

Face coverings still mandatory: Please remember that as dentistry is part of healthcare, you must still wear a face covering for appointments unless you are exempt. You may be asked for proof of exemption if you do not wear one.  We look after some extremely poorly patients and we must keep them and our staff safe so that we can continue to provide care.

Covid-19 infections: We are currently mandated to Covid-screen every patient and chaperone for Covid-19.  For your convenience this is combined with a reminder call for your appointment.  Please do not enter the practice if you have suspected or confirmed Covid-19 or if someone at home does.

Your NHS care: NHS dentistry is particularly vulnerable at the moment, and you may have seen in the news that many thousands of patients are struggling to be seen. Here at St Agnes Dental Practice, we are trying our hardest to maintain the high level of care we think you deserve.  Please do your part to help and turn up for appointments on time or give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel.  This is a reminder that all services with us will be have to be withdrawn if this requirement is not fulfilled and every missed appointment affects our ability to continue to provide NHS dentistry as a whole.
