Covid-19 2nd Lockdown Update
We are pleased to be able to say we are remaining open throughout this second lockdown.
5th November, 2020
We are continuing to provide emergency advice on the phone and face to face appointments when these are required. Safety of our staff and patients is of crucial importance and performing dentistry remains high risk for Covid-19 transmission. This is because we work in close proximity to staff and patients and because dentistry often requires the creation of aerosols. These aerosols (AGPs) remain in the air and can transmit the virus for an extended period, even after leaving the surgery. This means we are at a vastly reduced capacity and that we have implemented lots of new measures to reduce the risk of virus transmission. Your appointments with us will feel quite different for quite some time. Please go to our ‘what to expect during Covid-19’ page to find our current protocols to manage this risk and care for you face-to-face.
We are of course aware that we were obliged to cancel thousands of appointments during the first lockdown. Please be considerate as we try to look after and prioritise high risk patients and people in pain. We will be contacting you when we are able to rearrange your appointment. Thank you for your patience.
