An update from us on the easing of lockdown restrictions

17th May, 2021

We are delighted that the threat of the pandemic is waning. However, although lockdown restrictions are easing, dentistry cannot yet go completely back to normal. St Agnes Dental Practice must adhere strictly to all the new guidance which has been published for everyone’s safety.

At the practice, it is not easy to maintain effective social distancing in our reception area. For this reason, sadly our door has to remain locked so that we can manage arrivals for booked appointments. Our appointment diary is carefully structured to allow for social distancing and for increased cross infection control measures.

Dentistry remains high risk for our staff as we work in such closeness to you. Please understand that we are working as effectively and efficiently as we can in the circumstances. Although we are very aware of people’s anxiety to resume their routine care, we cannot compromise on safety in order to see more patients. Please be assured that if you were a regular patient before the pandemic, you will not lose your NHS place as a result of Covid-19.

Please have a look at our Covid-19 page for details of the services we are currently able to offer. If you have a dental emergency, we have allowed time daily to be able to look after you appropriately. Please telephone the practice if you need us urgently.

Thank you for your continued understanding. We know that this remains a difficult time and are looking forward to caring for you as soon as we can.
